Business TriVenture

The Fresh Air Leadership Company takes teams outdoors and works on how they function while they are moving. The Business TriVenture is the fullest version of that: a bike ride, a canoe and a walk across a single day in Scotland, with the team effectiveness work happening throughout rather than in a room afterwards.

The film runs to just over three minutes, which is long for a promotional piece and deliberate. The product is a day, and a day has an arc. Thirty seconds can establish that a group of people went outside together. It cannot show the difference between the group that set off in the morning and the group that came back, which is the thing being sold.

Three disciplines in one day is also a logistical problem for filming. Each has a different pace, a different set of safe positions to shoot from, and a different answer to the question of where the camera needs to be before anything happens.
